Goellnitz, born in Aachen, Germany
Rolf
studied and earned an advanced degree in Design at the University
for Applied Sciences, Faculty Design, in Aachen.
Following
his studies, Rolf worked internationally for almost 20 years
as a Creative Director for Europe’s largest fashion
retailer as well as other clients in Germany and the USA.
His work has gained recognition through numerous national
and international awards in both Europe and the USA.
Rolf
currently makes his home in Southern California and shares
his life with his loving family: wife RoxAnn, a native of
Los Angeles, and his three grown stepchildren - Jason, Kendra
and Kyre.
In
1999 he established OMC
Communication LLC and a Gallery for Contemporary Art.
The OMC Gallery was founded in Dusseldorf after he and his
wife had spent several years collecting international photography
and decided to be more involved in the art scene. Having
participated in numerous art fairs in Paris, Rotterdam, Cologne,
New York, Los Angeles, and Miami, the OMC Gallery has presented
mainly international contemporary photography, cooperating
today with more than 25 artists from around the globe. OMC
Gallery is currently based in Huntington Beach, CA.
In
late 2007, inspired by his own passion for traveling and
collecting, Rolf developed the initial idea for Travel To
Art. Galvanized by his experience art directing countless
commercial productions all over the world, Rolf decided that
there should be a service that offers an international fine
art and travel experience that is more than just a luxurious
way to travel and exhausting exhibition hopping. Having well
established international connections, Rolf partnered with
his old friend and associate Klaus Stenzel, a seasoned art
collector and influential entrepreneur from Germany, to launch
Travel To Art.
